Please can you tell me the difference between the benefits on the body of pilates vs yoga. Which is best for core strength, I have constant problems with my back and have been told to strengthen my glutes and core.
Thank you for your message. Yoga is a lovely practice for moving the body, building strength, balance and flexibility while connecting with the breath. Pilates focuses on building core strength and alignment plus really good for working into the stabilising muscles to support good postural alignment and correct muscle recruitment. If you are suffering with back issues, I would recommend Pilates. We have a couple low back pain sessions on the platform which could really help. I hope this answers your question. SPN.x
